Amdocs closed its fiscal year 2008, ended September 30, with slightly higher non-GAAP profits of $499.6 million, from $473.9 million last year.
GAAP net income, on the other hand, rose to $378.9 million from $364.9 million in 2007. Revenue also increased 11.5% to $3.16 billion.
In the fourth quarter alone, however, net income on a non-GAAP basis fell slightly to $117.2 million from $120.7 million in the same period last year. GAAP profit also dropped to $82.7 million from $96.2 million.
Revenue during the period increased 13.6% to $825.3 million. For the first quarter of fiscal year 2009, Amdocs expected to chalk up between $785 million and $810 million in revenue.
