AT&T expands Wipro M2M deal

AT&T and Wipro signed an expanded partnership deal to offer machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions to global companies.

The two firms said they will work together to offer M2M development services and systems integration across all major industries. AT&T said it will use its AT&T M2M Application Platform Powered by Axeda for the solutions.

“Organizations are searching to find simpler and more cost-effective ways to integrate connected machines into the enterprise,” Todd DeSisto, president of Axeda, said.

“The expanded relationship with Wipro will further enhance AT&T’s ability to provide custom industry specific solutions that leverage Axeda’s application platform providing greater benefits to clients,” said Kathryn Weldon, principal analyst at Current Analysis.
