Belgacom is claiming a first in its domestic market, with the launch of a cloud-based unified communications service for business customers.
The Belgian incumbent states the Unified Communication-as-a-Service (UCaaS) offer will slash enterprises’ costs by enabling them to pay a fixed monthly fee on a per-user basis, and removing the need to invest in associated infrastructure.
Services covered include fixed and mobile telephony, video, voicemail, e-mail and presence, and the telco plans to add service level agreements and detailed usage reports in future.
