HP has appointed Bill Veghte as executive vice president of the company’s Software and Solutions Business unit.
He will report to Ann Livermore, executive vice president, HP Enterprise Business.
Veghte joins HP from Microsoft, where he most recently served as senior vice president for the Windows business and where he was instrumental in the delivery and launch of Windows 7.
