Mobile personalization company Bridgewater Systems has enhanced its Bridgewater Policy Controller for HSPA and LTE networks to support the latest 3GPP requirements.
The Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) compliant suite now supports the 3GPP PCRF Release 7, 8 and 9 standards on the same platform, Bridgewater said.
Bridgewater Policy Controller provides real-time network, application, and subscriber policies.
It now includes subscriber usage information for volume-based metering, and supports real-time, multi-service metering based on application usage.
Bridgewater added that the system is fully interoperable with the equipment provided by leading vendors.
