Brocade taps new CFO

Brocade has appointed Dan Fairfax as its new chief financial officer, replacing Richard Deranleau who left the company on June 20.
 
Fairfax previously was Brocade’s vice president of global services from August 2009 to June 2011 and vice president of business operations from January 2009 to August 2009.
 
Prior to Brocade, Fairfax served as vice president of finance and administration, and CFO of Foundry Networks, from January 2007 until December 2008, when Foundry was acquired by Brocade.
 
He has also served as SVP and CFO of GoRemote Internet Communications and CFO of Ironside Technologies, ACTA Technology, and NeoVista Software.
