BT awards €223m software deal to Indian firm

India's Tech Mahindra has signed a €223 million/US$350 million deal with BT Group to provide communications solutions, an Asia Pulse report said.

Tech Mahindra his also to provide application maintenance and support services for BT's business software solutions and open source software platforms as part of the five year contract. These services would be delivered from the firm's facilities in India and a new facility being set up in the UK to monitor BT's core business processes, the report said.
