Orange Business Services has landed a three-year contract with Capgemini System worth almost half a million euro, a Wireless News report said.
Orange Business Services will provide a customised IP VPN and DSL solution interconnecting 11 locations in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the US.
With a global workforce of 82,000, Capgemini is a service provider of management and IT consulting, technology and outsourcing, advising customers on the development and implementation of growth strategies and the implementation of new technologies.
The Wireless News report quoted Willehad Klaverkamp, principal consultant at Capgemini Outsourcing Central Europe, saying, 'We were looking for a single service provider for our global communication needs. We operate at both the local level to cover country-specific requirements and internationally to deliver services from one source around the globe. We also require an extremely flexible network to enable new customers to be connected with ease.'
