China's Huawei wins WiMAX deal in Bulgaria

Huawei Technologies has won an order for a commercial WiMAX network in Bulgaria from operator TransTelecom, the Chinese telecom gear maker, quoted by a Reuters report said.

The Reuters further quoted Huawei as saying that the network would cover central business districts and hot spots in Bulgaria's major cities, including the capital, Sofia.

The statement did not disclose the value of the deal, the report said.
