Clarity has bought certain customer contracts and assets of Dot Communications, particularly those relating to the latter's Viper business.
Under the deal, which Clarity expects will strengthen its ability to deliver customer self-service and wholesale IP provisioning, the company will now the source code license to use Dot's Viper Wholesale Service Delivery Platform. The transaction involves a combination of an upfront cash payment and success-based royalty payments over three years.
