OSS provider Comptel has launched an integrated policy control and charging solution, Comptel Control and Charge.
The new suite combines Comptel's existing policy control, charging and mediation products into a single, modular platform.
Features include bandwidth management, roaming cost control, balance management and rating facilities.
Comptel said the suite does not duplicate a single feature, reducing the costs of introducing services or policies. The solution is also scalable and can be deployed incrementally, the company added.
“Separate policy control and charging functions slow down CSP innovation,” Comptel deputy CEO Simo Saaskilahti said.
