Comptel secures Bangladesh telco deal

Grameenphone, Telenor's subsidiary in Bangladesh, has chosen Comptel's provisioning and activation solution to improve its mobile service activation.

The solution automates the provisioning and activation processes and, with a single interface, covers the entire workflow - from service order to start of billing.  According to Comptel, the solution will enable Grameenphone to improve the consistency and efficiency of its service activation, ensuring that customers get the services they want quickly and reliably.

With more than 15 million subscribers, Grameenphone is operating in a rapidly expanding and a highly competitive market.
