Convergys upgrades Nawras system

Convergys has upgraded Nawras' billing and customer care system to a newer version of the Convergys Infinys solution, providing the Middle East mobile operator with expanded capabilities to launch converged voice and data services to both prepaid and postpaid customers.

These capabilities include next generation services based on IP and bundles of voice, data, and video with cross-product discounts.

Nawras says the Convergys solution has allowed it to capitalize on Oman's growth in mobile services since the start of its operations in 2005. The upgrade allows the mobile operator to continue to improve its speed to market with advanced convergent services sans expensive custom development.
