German mobile services distributor debitel has chosen Amdocs to provide it with a single billing software platform to support debitel and acquired brand, Talkline.
Under the deal, debitel will convert more than 9 million customers onto Amdocs Billing, which has supported the Talkline brand since 2000. According to Amdocs, debitel has selected Amdocs to help it leverage the scalable Amdocs Billing software to support more than three times as many subscribers as the software does today at Talkline.
The implementation will help debitel reduce operational costs by using a single billing platform - including the Amdocs Document Designer product for bill production - to support a total of more than 13 million debitel and Talkline customers.
