Deutsche Telekom confirms outlook amid crisis

Deutsche Telekom has no problems due to the financial crisis and confirmed its 2008 outlook

A Dow Jones Newswires report further quoted company spokesman Andreas Leigers saying that after refinancing around EUR6 billion through bonds so far this year, there is no further need for refinancing in 2008.

The carrier has a refinancing volume of EUR4.5 billion in 2009, he added. By the end of June 30, Deutsche Telekom's net debt was EUR40.6 billion.

Leigers also said Deutsche Telekom confirms its outlook for 2008.'So far we can't see softening demand for our services,' Leigers said.
