Docsis 3.0 - the magnifcent seven

Taiwan's Hitron Technologies is the seventh cable modem maker to receive Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (Docsis) 3.0 certification from CableLabs http://www.cablelabs.com/ .

To gain this certification, cable modems must meet a number of specifications including support for IPv6 and being able to aggregate four or more upstream channels and at least four downstream channels to produce shared speeds greater than 100 Mbps.
