DVB-H services ready to go in Austria

The Austrian cellular operator ONE is preparing to launch DVB-H mobile TV services early next month. The company, which is already offering handsets supporting the service, plans to offer 14 mobile TV channels and five radio stations over the DVB-H network operated by Germany's Media Broadcast.

While ONE plans to deploy the service widely, it will first provide coverage in Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Klagenfurt, the four cities which will host matches in next month's European Championship football tournament.
