Ericsson secures new supply deal in Japan

Telecom equipment maker Ericsson won an order from Japan's NTT DoCoMo for base station development of a mobile network standard known as Long-Term Evolution, a Reuters report said.

The Reuters report quoted Ericsson, the world's biggest mobile network maker, as saying that this network standard allowed enhanced features such as mobile video, blogging, advanced gaming and multimedia applications.
