Austrian operator One has selected communications solutions provider Ericsson to expand and upgrade its W-CDMA radio network with HSPA technology.
In release, the Ericsson said under the contract, it will deliver W-CDMA radio access components and HSPA functionality to enhance One's mobile broadband capabilities.
In addition to expanding and upgrading One's WCDMA/HSPA network, Ericsson will also provide turnkey network deployment and integration as well as related support services.
The contract period runs for three years and rollout will start immediately.
