Ericsson won a two-year contract to expand a network for Telekom Malaysia, a Reuters report said.
Ericsson said it will expand the operator's nationwide optical network in Malaysia.
'The contract is for the supply of an optical network based on Synchronous Digital Hierarchy and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing technologies, and the provision of installation works and comprehensive maintenance services,' Ericsson said in a statement.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, the Reuters report further said.
