Ireland’s capital Dublin is set to be the home of a new NFC division established by Escher Group, which claims to be the largest supplier of transaction processing software to the global postal market.
Escher Interactive Services will also offer managed services and identity management to retailers and mobile network operators, as the firm seeks to tap growth in the number of NFC-enabled smartphones.
Liam Church, Escher’s chief executive, says the new business has a team with a combined 20 years of experience in delivering NFC managed services. The new business demonstrates the firm’s “commitment to innovation and its desire to continue to dominate the point of service industry,” he states.
