The European Commission has given its nod to the acquisition of Austrian mobile operator Tele.Ring by Deutsche Telecom's Austrian mobile network provider, T-Mobile, a Dow Jones report said.
The deal, however, would be subject to certain conditions that the EC itself imposed, the report added.
The report said the deal, valued at 1.3 billion euros, would make T-Mobile Austria's second largest operator and allow it to challenge market leader Telekom Austria.
