Eutelsat Communications has boosted its position in the broadband market in Germany, reaching an agreement with TelDaFax Communications GmbH.
A Satellite Today news report also said the deal will allow the firm to immediately distribute its Tooway satellite broadband service in Germany.
The service is a high-speed satellite alternative for consumers looking for broadband access in areas with poor or no ADSL infrastructure.
TelDaFax Communications GmbH is a subsidiary of the TelDaFax Group that provides consumers throughout Germany with one-stop shopping telecoms, electricity, finance and insurance services.
Skylogic, Eutelsat's broadband affiliate, will be responsible for the distribution contract with TelDafax.
