France Telecom plans to spend at least €78 million (US$116 million) annually on the infrastructure of its newly acquired Telkom Kenya, a Reuters report said.
'Our investment rate today, for 2008, 2009 and years to come, is in the magnitude of 8 billion shillings to 10 billion shillings per year,' Peter Reinartz, deputy CEO of Telkom Kenya, was quoted by the Reuters report as saying.
'That's in infrastructure, tools and systems, its also all the things that are capitalised,' the executive said.
