Gartner: Governments in MENA to spend $3.1B on mobile in 2015

Gartner said governments in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) will spend $3.1 billion (€2.75 billion) on mobile network services in 2015, with total telecoms spending to reach $4.7 billion. Government spending on all IT services in the region will amount to $11.4 billion, including internal services, software, IT services, data centres, devices and telecoms services. Fixed and mobile telecoms services will thus account for the largest share this year. Software spending will grow 2.8 per cent over 2014 spending, to reach $1.2 billion in 2015, the research company added. Release
