Global-Teleport selects Hughes solution

Russia's Global-Teleport has chosen Hughes Network Systems' HN broadband satellite solution to provide Internet access and rural telephony throughout Russia.

Under the 'National Education Project,' Global-Teleport has deployed more than 2,500 HN remote terminals throughout Russia, and is operating an HN Network Operations Center (NOC) in Moscow at the AllRussiaExhibitCenter.

Global-Teleport provides communications services to long-distance telcos, state institutions such as the Federal State Enterprise Russian Post, Internet service providers, and several commercial enterprises.
