GSMA: 70% of SMS spam is related to financial scams

A new study by the GSMA has revealed that 70 per cent of spam SMS is targeted at financial fraud. The survey, which was conducted through 10 months of last year, involved AT&T Mobility, Bell Mobility, KT, SFR, Sprint Nextel, Vodafone and the Korean Internet & Security Agency.
