Huawei is bolstering its UK advisory board with three new members to boost its business in the country with localized strategies.
Brian McBride, Patience Wheatcroft, and Claudia Arney offer experience in business, telecoms and government relations that Huawei considers essential to growing its UK operation, which it established a decade ago.
A former managing direct at Amazon’s UK arm, McBride has 25 years experience in the IT and telecom industries with companies including Xerox, IBM, Dell and T-Mobile.
Baroness Wheatcroft offers a wealth of media expertise, having been business editor at The Times for nine years and, most recently, editor in chief of the Wall Street Journal Europe.
Arney is a non-executive director with experience across public and private sectors, including Goldman Sachs and HM Treasury.
