Ilhan Bagoren takes helm at Telenity

Ilhan Bagoren has replaced Ahmet Ozalp as chief executive of location-based services firm Telenity.

The chairman and co-founder took on the new role after Ozalp stepped down in a move he states has been in the cards for the past four months, and will accelerate the firm’s growth.

Bagoren has 25 years experience in the telecoms industry. Before founding Telenity, he helped establish mobile services firm NewNet in 1989, managing the company’s technology and architecture strategy and pioneering new technology developments in computer-centric SS7 signaling and switching.
