Intec clinches Atlantique contract

African GSM operator Atlantique Telecom has awarded a contract to Intec for the supply of the latter's Interconnect software to the carrier's mobile subsidiaries throughout French-speaking Africa, on a single centralized platform deployment.

Under the deal, the same Interconnect platform will be shared by all Atlantique subsidiaries. Remote access on the Intec system hosted in Abidjan for Atlantique subsidiary Moov allows seamless and secure use of the system by the different countries.

The next four Moov operations in Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger and the Central African Republic have already gone live with the Intec Interconnect deployment, with Togo and Gabon to follow.
