Intec revenue up 8%

Intec Telecom Systems registered an 8% increase in revenue to 124.5 million pounds ($250.6 million) as of end-September.

EBITDA before exceptionals and goodwill impairment went up by 119% to 14.7 million pounds ($29.6 million) from only 6.7 million pounds ($13.5 million) in the same period last year.

According to the company, the year saw a marked revenue increase in the North American, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.

Although registering a dismal performance in the Caribbean and Latin American region, Intec expects to win a large convergent billing contract that will, if secured, will help underpin the company's growth in the region in 2008.
