According to Telecompaper, Intel and Yahoo! plan to launch the Widget Channel, a TV application framework optimised for TV and related consumer electronics devices that use the Intel architecture.
The Widget Channel will allow consumers to access internet applications designed for the TV while watching their favourite TV programmes.
Yahoo! will also provide consumers Yahoo!-branded TV Widgets that are customised based on its category-leading internet services.
