Zain Iraq is unifying its subscriber data, currently distributed across the network, into a single database using the Nokia Siemens Networks’ One-NDS platform.
One-NDS addresses Zain’s need for a resilient and high-capacity subscriber data repository by introducing flexibility not found in legacy database architectures.
With this, Zain Iraq expects to target new services in a better manner as well as lower churn rates and reduce subscriber acquisition costs.
The centralized subscriber data repository will be integrated seamlessly into the Zain network through reuse of the existing business processes.
