iSoftStone Information Technology has acquired Ascend Technologies, a provider of IT services and business consulting services to global banking and financial services including insurance (BFSI).
Through iSoftStone's 10,000 China-based employees, Ascend's clients now have access to iSoftStone's broad range of IT development and BPO services delivered from China.
"We believe the addition of Ascend's capabilities is timely as many global banking and financial institutions are increasingly seeking to work with China-based providers for IT and BPO services," said CEO TW Liu.
