Ixia expands presence in India

Ixia has opened a new sales and customer support center in Bangalore, expanding its presence in India. The facility will offer a wide variety of services for its India customers, including sales, service, support, comprehensive training, and a proof-of-concept and certification lab. 

India is one of Ixia's key markets for expansion, accounting for 30% of its R&D activities today. Ixia says India is poised for substantial sales growth in the next three years due to increased R&D activities by Ixia's US-based equipment manufacturer customers.

In the coming years, Ixia plans to increase its presence and penetration in customer segments across the Asia Pacific, including the carrier, enterprise and government markets.
