LTE-Advanced specs may appear later this year

The specifications for the LTE-Advanced standard could appear as soon as the second half of 2011. According to an executive from Nokia Siemens Networks, it is possible to demonstrate LTE-A today but it will likely be two years before the standard becomes commercially viable.
