The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) has named mobile Mike Wehrs as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the association, effective immediately. Laura Marriott, global president for the last several years, left at the end of December.
Wehrs was previously VP of Industry Affairs and Evangelism at Nuance Communications, was responsible for the company's mobile business strategy, product strategy, industry and public policy and a member of the mergers and acquisitions team.
