More evidence new iPhone is on the way

T-Mobile Austria's website briefly made reference this week to a 32Gb version of Apple iPhone, Dow Jones Newswire reports, adding to the speculation that a new iPhone will be launched this year. At the moment, there are 8Gb and 16Gb iPhone models.

Apparently Apple wouldn’t comment on the listing, but all eyes are now on the Apple Developer Conference which is to be held in San Francisco from 8-12 June, and in previous years has been the staging for some of Apple’s biggest announcements.

Dow Jones says analysts expect any new iPhone would spur demand, which would help Apple continue to weather the recession: Apple's shares have risen 43% so far this year. Sales of the iPhone represent about 11% of the company’s last quarterly revenue, and the device has doubled its worldwide market share so far this year.
