(Satellite Today via NewsEdge) Rockwell Collins' Tailwind 300 is its latest satellite TV offering for business jets.
First delivery of the system is expected by mid-2007.
Rockwell Collins has partnered with DirecTV to provide satellite TV service to aircraft that includes channels such as CNN, Fox, Bloomberg, ESPN, The Weather Channel, A&E and Discovery, as well as local networks and pay-per-view options.
Rockwell Collins provides a turnkey service for that includes a one-year subscription to DirecTV's basic package.
