Acer has provided details  about its two new smartphones - the recently-launched dual-SIM DX900, and the X960 smartphone which will launch in Asian and European markets in Q2.
 
Nortel has opened a global network operations center in Bangalore India. The center will provide surveillance and performance monitoring solutions for enterprise and carrier customers.

 
IP test system vendor Ixia said it will acquire competitor Catapult Communications for $9.25 per share in a deal worth $105 million.
 
Apple has rejected  another submission to the company's app store. The “Me So Holy” app allows users to fashion their photos into portraits resembling religious figures such as Jesus Christ.
