News In Brief: Bouygues Telecom, Apple, Google

Bouygues Telecom has lent its weight to a complaint Canal Plus filed with the French competition authority against France Telecom, over the incumbent’s bundling of audiovisual content with its telecoms services, WSJ.com reports.

Consumers in Germany, France, Australia, Japan, Italy, Spain and Switzerland can pre-order Apple’s iPad online from today, ahead of the official launch in those countries May 28.

Google's location-based service Latitude now has 3 million active users – equal to the number of users of rival services Foursquare and MyTown combined. In total 8 million have signed up since the Latitude launch.
