EMC’s Ionix IT management software promises to help users accelerate their migration from physical to virtual to cloud infrastructure.
It combines automated server compliance and configuration solutions from EMC’s recent Configuresoft acquisition with the company’s newly unified management software portfolio.
With new levels of integration and automation, the Ionix software breaks through traditionally siloed IT management solutions, accelerating the virtualization process. Ionix solutions span four categories: service discovery and mapping, IT operations intelligence, data center automation and compliance, and service management.
