Nigel Stagg named BT Wholesale chief

BT said Sally Davis has stepped down as chief executive of BT Wholesale for personal reasons after serving the company for four years.

She will be replaced by Nigel Stagg, currently managing director of BT Business, BT’s SME division.

Stagg will assume his new position on September 1, and Davis will remain with BT until the end of October to ensure there is a smooth handover of responsibilities.

BT Wholesale supplies services to fixed and mobile network operators as well as ISPs and telecoms resellers in the UK. It provides a broad range of voice, broadband and data communications services including managed network services where it provides other companies with much broader support in the background.
