Fully integrated mobile communication services provider NII Holdings has awarded a contract to Astellia for monitoring of the company’s 2G and 3G networks.
The deployment will complement NII Holdings’ existing tools, providing a unified and centralized solution for revenue assurance.
Astellia’s monitoring and optimization solution will be deployed in five countries in Latin America where NII Holdings operates 2G and 3G networks under the “Nextel” brand: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Chile.
The solution will likewise allow NII Holdings to troubleshoot quality-threatening problems that can potentially result in revenue loss.
