Nokia secures approval for Loudeye acquisition

Plans by Nokia to acquire US-based digital music distributor Loudeye for $60 million have been approved by regulators, a Reuters report said.

The report, quoting the two companies, said both parties had received early termination of the waiting period from the US Federal Trade Commission and the antitrust division of the US Department of Justice, as well as clearance from authorities in Germany and Italy.
