Nokia Siemens, ACME Tele Power join forces

Finnish telecomms infrastructure company Nokia Siemens Networks has agreed with ACME Tele Power jointly to work together to offer efficient operation, maintenance and energy management solutions to telecom operators.

By leveraging ACME's range of innovative passive infrastructure solutions, the companies plan to create customised solutions to improve networks' environmental performance as well as customers' competitiveness and profitability, Nokia Siemens Networks said.

The two companies will also establish a joint development lab in India to examine future opportunities, specifically around remote energy monitoring solutions. The collaboration is aimed at supporting operators' market penetration strategies and providing opportunities to improve the energy efficiency of their networks.
