Norway's GET chooses Amdocs

Norwegian voice, data and digital TV services provider GET has deployed the Amdocs provisioning and fulfillment solution for cable, enabled the first digital TV virtual network operator (VNO) to go live.

According to Amdocs, its solution provides GET with a single platform to automate provisioning of digital TV, VoIP, and high-speed Internet services for multiple service operators.

The product\'s multi-domain capability allows the segmentation and management of the VNO\'s subscriber data, enabling GET to sell and bill services to new customers even if they are physically located outside of the GET network.

Apart from generating new revenues, GET can now also deliver superior customer experience by enabling VNOs to deliver "service on demand."
