NSN signs mobile TV deal in Singapore

Singapore's SingTel tapped Nokia Siemens for the launching its Mobile TV service using the Nokia Siemens Networks' Mobile TV streaming solution.

Nokia Siemens Networks said the Mobile TV streaming deployment, including a mobile client application, is one of its first in Asia Pacific. SingTel will be the first mobile operator to launch this service in Singapore.

The contract also includes a range of services which has allowed SingTel to start its new Mobile TV offering quickly and guarantee ongoing platform stability and quality, the company said.
