O2 has appointed Claire Valoti as managing director of its media business, replacing Shaun Gregory who has moved on to a new role in Telefónica Digital.
Valoti will assume her new role on January 3, reporting to Telefónica UK new business director, Tim Sefton.
Prior to joining O2 Media, Valoti was head of digital display and mobile at media firm Mindshare. She was also appointed co-chair of the Mobile Marketing Association for the UK in 2010.
