On-portal betting drives mobile gambling to US$27.5bn by 2013

A sea change in operator attitudes towards mobile gambling services, improvements to handset user interfaces, and the gradual introduction of legislation permitting remote gambling in selected markets are among the key factors which are expected to push total annual wagers via mobile phones to more than US$27.5 billion by 2013, according to a new report from Juniper Research.
